Ingersoll Rand’s Club Car Business Unit is searching for a Marketing Manager, International to provide strategic and tactical marketing leadership focused on driving dramatic growth. The Marketing Manager, International is responsible for developing, establishing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet channel needs as well as developing end user market campaigns driving brand preference, engagement, and mindshare. This manager is focused on a global geography outside of North America and works as a member of a team of other marketing managers who are focused on key verticals.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

1. Market Strategy: Develop market strategies and campaigns aligned to meet our overall business objectives.

 

2. Demand Generation: Design and execute campaigns focused on building brand awareness, engaging end users, and creating brand loyalty in our target markets driving demand and lead generation. The sales organization owns the business inside the quarter. Marketing owns the business outside the quarter.

 

3. Market Insights: Utilize market intimacy and data to benchmark customer value, competitive activities, customer segmentation, and comparisons to help direct the business where to target our activities. Marketing determines where to play. Product Management determines how to win.

 

4. Product Development and Commercialization: Assist product management in the gathering of competitive, customer, and channel input to build product pipeline. Develop and execute commercialization plans for all product launches. Work in close collaboration with regional leadership and product management to ensure sales effectiveness, adoption, and excitement for new products. Represent the voice of International on all strategic project teams.

 

5. Communication: Create clear, consistent, and targeted communications, understanding the needs and differences of the international marketplace.

 

6. Online and Web Strategy: Collaborate with our sales, legal, web, and digital teams on our online and web strategy for long term sustainable growth including enhanced content and MAP pricing policy management.

 

7. Customer Satisfaction: Drive actions to improve channel satisfaction scores and end user net promoter scores.

 

8. Budget Management: Create and manage funds dedicated to support marketing activities. Forecast changes in spending based on fluctuating business conditions. Create pro forma models to justify potential initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • At least 5 years B2B and/or B2C marketing experience is required.
  • Vehicle, automotive, or transportation industry or related experience is preferred.
  • Multi-lingual preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing marketing strategies.
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence and inspire, especially in a long distance environment.
  • Energetic, passionate, driven, and strong interpersonal skills who works well in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strategic thinker with proven ability to deliver measurable results.
